Some sweetness to your next salad

This past weekend we had a BBQ at our place to celebrate Mother's Day. I knew I as going to invest some time making yummy salads, but I wanted to try a different salad dressing, and I was in the mood to make it myself!
After figuring out what kind of salad I was going to make, I decided the best fit for it would be a sweet poppy seed dressing.
Seven ingredients make this recipe very easy, the little work it takes makes it simple to do over and over again, and the delicious taste will make you never buy a store bought dressing again!

Ingredients-

3 tablespoons Greek yogurt

1/4 cup light mayo or mayo alternative (suck as veganaise)

1 Tablespoon EVOO

½ tablespoon cider vinegar

1 tablespoon semi sweet white wine

2 teaspoons agave

2-3 tablespoons poppy seeds

Whisk first six ingredients together in a bowl.  Mix until all blended together.  Add poppy seeds.  Refrigerate until chilled.  Serve and enjoy!

(I quadrupled the recipe and made a jarful for the week)
This dressing compliments a spinach and strawberry salad, which was what we had on Mother’s Day-

Organic baby spinach washed

Organic strawberries- cut in half (or quarters depending on size)

Avocado- diced

Feta cheese

Honey roasted almonds (store bought or homemade)

 Mix and Enjoy!!!

Stay healthy this summer with refreshing salads topped with the delicious dressing!
