Banana Bites

I was craving something sweet with a side a salty yesterday.  Or maybe it was something salty with a side of sweet.  Either way- I did not have what I was in the mood for, so I made my own little blend with two common ingredients I use every day- Peanut butter and Honey! Simple and easy- this will give you that little something you were craving.  Have it as a snack, dessert, or even a bite or two for breakfast!

Ingredients-
1 Banana- sliced into sizes of your choice
                   2 Tablespoons Peanut Butter
                   1 Tablespoon honey

Mix the PB and Honey together until blended.  You may want to add more honey if you are looking for something sweeter.
Spread and make into "banana bites". **You can add melted dark chocolate as well- I just did not have any!

Freeze.  Enjoy!

A Healthier Tuna

I love tuna, however it is not always the healthiest choice.  Mayo is not the best decision to make when trying to live a healthier life- instead use half an avocado to mix!  You will get the same consistency, a better taste, and overall a better choice.  I have been making my tuna like this for years now, and yesterday I decided to add a boost to it- so easy, healthy, and delish for your next at-home quick and easy lunch!

Recipe-

1 can Tuna
1/2 Avocado
Handful Almonds
Handful Dried Cranberries
Half Apple diced

Mix tuna with avocado. Add rest of ingredients and mix together.  Add to lettuce for a perfect mid-day wrap!  If you are like me and like the a "crunch" when eating a sandwich, add cucumbers and hummus for a great side~
